Abul Khayer Jashim Uddin (known professionally as Jashim; 14 August – 8 October ) was a Bangladeshi film actor, producer, action director and a freedom fighter.^[1] He acted in more than films and is known as the first action hero and the first megastar of Dhallywood.^[2] He is widely known as action king of Dhallywood Bangladesh cinema due to popularizing fight scenes with his own direction.

Early life and career

Jashim was born at Boxnagar village in Nawabganj Upazila, Dhaka on 14 August ^[3] He was a freedom fighter who fought in the Liberation War of Bangladesh in at sector 2 under Major ATM Haider.^[3]
