Old Mutual has appointed Ms Nombulelo ‘Pinky’ Moholi and Ms Nosipho Molope as independent non-executive directors of Old Mutual Life Assurance Company of South Africa (OMLACSA), with effect from 1 November 2012.

Ms Moholi is also appointed to the OMLACSA Risk Committee.

A qualified engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Cape Town, she was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Telkom SA in March 2011. She previously gained a solid understanding of the Old Mutual Group as Strategy, Marketing and Corporate Affairs executive of Nedbank until April 2009.

Ms Moholi has completed executive management programmes at Stanford and Harvard.
